Girl with the Pink Toolbelt

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  I finished up a project this weekend that I mentioned in the last post.  But first- the Pinspiration photos.   I knew I didn't want to put the old frames with hot pink mattes back up in the hallway after I repainted it.  As I was scrolling through Pinterest, I kept seeing this black and white abstract art in my feed.  Finally I clicked on it and saw a few others like it.  See below.   They look simple enough to recreate, right?  I mean, I'm no artist and I'm not going to post mine to sell for $904.  But I figured I could at least attempt it on an old canvas I had and if it sucked, well, I'd probably still hang it just like I did the macramé thing.  HAH!   The canvas I have was originally from the upstairs loft when it was a totally different color scheme.  Apparently I was on acid when I decorated the room with this color combo.  Tragic.   The canvas is 30" by 48" so rather large.  It is damaged from being tossed aro

 Guys- I'm going to vent a little bit here.  If someone allows you to stay in their home- that they pay their hard earned money for- treat it with a little respect.   The hall bathroom has always been my guest bathroom because I have my own bathroom in my bedroom.  Well the last 4 or so years it's been two grown ass adults bathroom and the ONLY responsibility they had living here was to clean the bathroom.  I clean every other inch of my house- the bathroom that I don't use was not going to also be my responsibility.  Well- clearly that wasn't done.  Or if it was done- it was really half-assed.  You want to talk about disgusting?   Candle wax spilled all down the wall from a plug-in warmer.  Was it cleaned up?  Or was it left there for me to pick off dried wax until my finger nails were bloody?   Shaving cream splatter all over the walls above the shower.  Was it cleaned up?  Or was is left there for me to scrub? I won't even discuss the underneath of the toilet sea
